copy and paste the file 26f1529937b5a4abed6b6936585cb667 from FLARE folder right into C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming (with replacement as an option)

Okay, I may be able to help some that are having difficulties installing this... IMO, the nfo directions are inadequate, and some instructions given by members either don't really work, or work on whatever mystery computer system they're using (some here don't say!). Some of the explanations above just lack clarity.

You'll read above to go to C:/Users/*Your Name*/AppData/Roaming on a Windows machine. Someone above then mentions to then go to the "Application Support" folder and drop the license there. I found no file for Excite Audio or Lifeline in that Application Support folder, tried pasting the license there anyway, didn't work. Maybe if you find an Excite or Lifeline folder in the 'Application Support" folder it will work for you, but this seemed incorrect to me.

I tried a few other places to drop the license, none of which worked and was pissed and ready to give up on this.

Finally, I tried just dropping the Flare license in the "Roaming" folder on its own. Got a popup that it was already there (surprise, hadn't noticed it!!) and was about to give up when I noticed the one in the Roaming folder is a different size. Swapped the Flare license file for the file of the same name that's already in Roaming, and finally got this working.

I hope this helps someone. This was a confusing installation!
