Hmm... I got R2R's a little bit older version of this bundle, and found they're saying VR is deceiving users by tagging 'Slate Digital Bundle' on the name of these bundle releases. Here is the R2R's note below.

NOTE : Release by VR taggeed as "Slate Digital Bundle" does not contain the binary provided by Slate Digital. The binary provided by Slate Digital has different binary from the kiloHearts one. Hey VR stop deceiving users or unpack PACE/WrapWarden yourself!

I don't know about the binaries or PACE/WrapWarden things, but Is it true VR is doing something not right?

I wouldn't call it deceiving, from what I gather VR provides the content (i.e. the plugins/presets) of the slate digital bundle but doesn't use the actual slate digital installer files. someone correct me if i'm wrong though.

It is not just VR that fails in this.
ALL installers ought to give and option AND a confirmation windows showing paths.
But it is what it is.
That is part of the reason why I use Symlinks so much.

Phaseplant is easily in the top 3 soft-synths (well, top 5 at least) available. Their effects are "snapins" which are used within Phaseplant as well as their effect plugins Multipass and Snapheap, which host the snapins. Top notch stuff. Should not be missed. Oh, and worth every penny if you decide to support the dev.

Man I love this thing, I always find myself using kilohearts the most. It's super light on the cpu and keeps me in the workflow. I honestly only use other plugins cause I feel like I'm missing out if I don't lol. Multipass and phase plant is all you need imo I referenced a culture shock 'recombine' and was able to make my drums sound just like his using multipass, the compressor isnt the best but it is certainly doable because you can use multiple instances of it to catch peaks with minimal cpu load. This and Eventides split eq and you can make you stuff sound like anything.

Phase Plant good and creative. Snap Heap good and creative. Modular environment is great when you need to get something unexpected, or your mind just invented some strange combination of FX. kH bundle is great for that.

My only gripe with those "snap ins" is that they could be a bit more versatile. e.g. I would like a tremolo snap in with all kind of mod waveforms.
