I think the Users/Library path way is just for user presets.
Because my folders are empty!

The AAX version of the plug-ins doesn't work and so for all the other Rob Papen products you have released .... at least for me! Suggestions of how to fix this?

i didn't touch AAX, just analyzed and found that AAX calls VST to work as it does on VST3. so please also if you tell about "not working" include it like the text in the popup dialog that appears, crashlog or something like that and it can help me too.

You're right ....

Here's what the error popup dialog that appears in Pro Tools says:

'The following plug-ins failed to load because they are not a valid 64 bit AAX plug-ins'

It looks like you have been working on the AAX plugs-ins but as you wrote, you didn't touch the structure or patch the plugs directly ... right?

Hope this can help you somehow solve the problem!

I tried to codesign a couple of plugs-ins (VSTs only) to see if Pro Tools would validate the plugs-ins this way but I didn't get any useful results! All the other formats work perfectly (Logic X, Ableton Live 11, Reaper v.6.46, Studio One 5) without my having to take any further action.

However I haven't touched the AAX plugs-ins in any way.

Hello can anyone refer a good Windows on Mac app on MacBook pro. My Wine have no worked since i've upgraded to Big Sur OS. I would greatly appreciate the advise or point me into the right direction because I can't get any of the KeyGen to work...

I use Crossover 21 to run keygens on Mac. It works flawlessly on Big Sur (I have Intel MacBook Pro though).

Anyone having a "you don't have permisson" message, try right clicking on the file in question (mac) and going to "file info" at the bottom you'll see permissions for users, click on the column next to "everybody" and change it to "read write" that solved a lot of my "you don't have permission" issues.

I'm having the same issue except for mac os (latest on M1) is saying the vst (vst3 and one other) are not able to be validated and needs to be reinstalled. I actually don't have the directory you mentioned on my machine. there is not a: /user/<mylogin>/Library/preferences folder. I get to the library folder but there is no preferences folder to copy the file into. Any help?

Im on M1 and non of the vst3 work

-I get an error-
PLUGIN CANOT BE FOUND, PLEASE RUN INSTALLER AGAIN.

components and vst2 works fine, can't test AAX cause I don't use that but I did install it and the error still appears
