Hi, I'm on an m1 mac. I've followed all the steps for this and the last releases, however my logic pro still say the plugins can't be opened. I previously had legit waves plugins, but done an uninstall and deleted all folders.

seriously, wtf is wrong with people like you - literally complaining about a piece of software, someone cracked in their own free time for people to enjoy and have access to, FREE OF CHARGE.

I have bought software that performs not even close as stable as the cracks on this website. Be a little grateful man.

you need to xattr and codesign the WaveLicenseEngine.bundle on M1

sudo xattr -cr *dragNdrop license bundle here*
sudo codesign -fs - *dragNdrop it here again*

yo, despite following those steps i still cant seem to get it to work with logic even on rosetta?, it works perfectly fine with FL and Ableton is there any chance you could help me?

I just ran Waves Central and clicked on "Update" and then used this patch and Au reg after sudo commands above and it was a bit of a finicky AU scan on first start of Logic, but it all works as before. Appreciate the share. At least there actually were a few updates this time, as opposed to some minor useless ones.

I did
1. Go to waves folder and Install Waves Central and Run
2. Select Offline Installer and Click Install from an Offline Installer
3. Browse the Waves folder you downloaded (Inside : 1 - Installer) (For Mac Users, move folder to "Users/yourname/public/")
4. Select the plugins you like and Install
5. Apply patch ( WavesLicenseEngine )
6. Removes waves local server :
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer
or
killall WavesLocalServer & rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer
and sudo xattr -cr *dragNdrop license bundle here*
sudo codesign -fs - *dragNdrop it here again*
7. RESTART
8. Run AU Reg tool 12.0.0.87 Build R 215024 for AU

Hi, I tried all these versions where you need to put that code in Terminal Mac... and is not working for me... I am on Mac Mojave ...Please somebody can Help me with advice? Thanks

I am not sure if I am doing anything wrong...I opened Reremital and pasted the code, hit enter, put my passwords.... Restarted the mac and there are no Waves Plugins in Pro Tools

In the end it worked perfectly, but it is very important to do a thorough UNINSTALL old files process first.

Then, for reasons unknown, running this patch will destroy all symbolic links in the system HDD. If you are using a lot of symbolic links, you should make sure to backup your system HDD before installing.

for me, Logic shows me a Dialog wich says "there is no active License for *WavesPlugIn* "

When I try to load the plugin, no GUI is displayed and there is no sound
I did all the steps 5 times as described.
All other versions worked

would be grateful for any tips /thanks anyway for your work for this release

works on Ableton using vst3 and components, and cubase vst3 but on logic the plug ins don't load up.

I have never had a issue I was not able to solve installing Waves bundles until the latest release:

When I install it, all of the VST3 plugins work great in Reaper 6.46 (legit) and WaveLab Elements 11 (VR) which are my goto's for recording, mixing and mastering, however, none of the standalone applications will open with the dreaded :"license not found please reinstall Waves" error. This does NOT occur when I use the same instrument (eg Gtr3, Bass Slapper ,etc.) as a VST3 Plugin in Reaper 6 or any other DAW. The last version release in Early Dec worked fine. Neither the R2R Emu (newest version), nor the Team VR patching methods make any difference! I downloaded the lastest installer from the waves site to be sure there was no corruption of the files as well as this version. No difference. I have followed the usual protocall of cleaning both my system and the registry of all Waves related entries

Anyone out there know how to fix this?

My System : Intel i7-3930 3.2 Gz processor, w/32 GB of RAM, WIN 10 Pro 1909 18363.1556 build.

UPDATE: I FIXED THIS!!

If anyone else has this issue in the future, run "fix permissions and ownership" and then run "Version Organizer" in Waves Central. For some unkown reason Waves was looking for license for standalones only on a different drive (F: my storage drive!) than where they are installed on my C: system drive. When I ran these in order it pointed the apps to the correct folder in C/program Data/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEnginebundle.

All plugins and the studio rack (installed as well from V12) all working file with just the R2R Bundle.
