They imply they have updated it with new sounds.
The Clavichord is from the Late Middle Ages. It's not a Clavinet.

What is this? A ROM player with some samples that can be triggered with a MiDi note?
And if someone already has the plugs Chromaphone, Strum GS-2, Ultra Analog etc. (AAS says that the samples come from those plugs) this one becomes useless?
Or does it have miraculous hidden functions?

What is the advantage of having this plug instead of putting a sample on a single track?

Essentially, yeah!
Although they are nice, playable patches.
I already had Ultra and Strum, and some of the patches for other lines were quite inspiring, for free.
Now there has been a slight update...of another 300+ sounds!
But as you say, not needed if you have all the new stuff; the loops etc...

What got me into these guys over 10 years ago...was String Studio!

Oh, wait...
But the fact there are now some loops in this freebie, from new stuff I don't have, makes it even more fun.
Sometimes nice to be restricted to a certain tempo with loops. Gives that old school vibe when things are a bit out!
DJ Champion's track was pretty awesome with this, I thought.

Yes I agree, I have even tried it and its loops on fly is somehow stimulating. Using this method I almost wrote a new song...

Note: Do you know if there is a way to use our samples/sounds with it? Is it too much or do you know a way?

They got me with String Studio and Chromaphone. Modelling synths weren't very common in those days. I really like Harmor from FL, too. It often feels refreshing to get away from subtractive synthesis, so I warmly welcome AAS updates of just about anything. :)
