Works fine here on Big Sur/M1, forced into Rosetta, thanks SPTNDC! It would be sweet to have the ARM side cracked as well, but this works great for now.

There are at least 2 ways to force a Universal app to run under Rosetta on an M1.
The easy way is to simply get info on the app, and check the "Open using Rosetta" box.
The other method is to strip the ARM code from the app. This has the added advantage of dramatically reducing the app size. It's a simple Terminal command, in this case: 
sudo lipo -remove arm64 "/Applications/GigPerformer4.app/Contents/MacOS/GigPerformer4" -output "/Applications/GigPerformer4.app/Contents/MacOS/GigPerformer4"

out of curiosity since it is cross platform does unlocked mean i can use windows plug-ins? There are many that can't be cracked for mac I would like to try

This version isn't cross platform, the software offered here is the macOS version.
The other version that was posted is the locked version which can only be used with PA plugins.
This unlocked version can be used with all plugins. On macOS!

Cool ! MainStage vs Gig Performer anybody ? I'm using MainStage atm for a guitar rig , live with pedals and an amp , I have a backup PC with GP3, looking forward to trying this out on the MacBook.
