Albeit the sound is good this is a much more Limited and less gritty rendition of the instrument..

N.I. B4 II is more of a Sampled take on it,
and there's also the N.I. Vintage Organs package with different historical models..
Still the good old GSI VB3 always had something special about it!

I think Blue3 from GG Audio is a great instrument. Total control over The sound.
NI B4 is also great, but it’s a sample based instrument.

I use GSI VB3-II v1.1.1. As a B3 fan to my humble opinion this is the best software clone. Especially the distortion sounds natural in contradiction of other software clones which distiortion is way too digital!
NI B4 is still great, but I did not get it working in Win10.

Thanks for this freeware, which actually is quite nice considering it's freeware and the GSI VB3-II costs $100, which was even $149 when it came out as VB3-II.

Do you prefer the (second) GSi VB3-II version over the first?

I've tried the second and while it's Clearly much more Complete/Tweakable and sounds much Cleaner..
I still find in some presets the Original has more Mojo so to speak..!

He he he. I agree with you: I've VB-3 1.4 and VB-3 II, but in my notes, some times ago, I wrote "Some presets from version 1.4 sounds much better than version II"

In the mellow presets the older version sounds a bit better, softer. But for my ears the distortion of the second is better and I use it in my band primarily for the distorted sounds in songs like Born To Be Wild and Hush.
In a mix I think it will be difficult to hear any difference between the older and the newer VB3. So I guess you can install both versions, why not?

i use Blue3 with the NI Leslie, sounds exactly like the real thing. GSI VB3-II works well also.

I have my real one original 'Hammond C3' with it's boxes,
and my ears are accustomed to the original sound of an authentic one. So, I can't help commenting that it is a good example to produce 'Free products' for users around the world, but this "CollaB3' leaves something to be desired, it has a poorly elaborated 'Leslie' that sounds like a normal vibrato, another thing, when we slide our hand over the keys, we noticed the transition between all the samples, making the homogeneity of the original Hammond not appear. I rate note 6.5 for this project.
