A great sounding reverb is arguably one of the most important factors in achieving a full and atmospheric mix, and with that in mind, the SoundSpot® team set out to create a reverb that can deliver to the demands of modern production. After many months of development we are proud to announce the arrival of the Oracle Algoverb.

The Oracle is a one stop shop for all your creative reverb needs, and can be used on any sound source to great effect. From adding a sense of depth to piano melodies, to making synthesised soundscapes sound huge, the Oracle has it covered.

Key Features

• Intuitive, easy to navigate user interface.

• Designed to work flawlessly with touch controllers such as the Raven by Slate Media.

• Stereo imaging controls for accurate placement in the stereo field.

• Analogue style compressor with visual waveform feedback.

• Bandpass filter to sculpt the sound and remove unwanted frequencies.

• LFO effect to create movement to the amplitude of the signal.

am curious this and see how it holds up next to the, possibly, two best procedural verbs out rt now(2c aether and acon's reverberate2).

And Audioease Altiverb No sorry not "procedural "
You mean algorithmic yes?

oh.. yes, algorithmic. but altiverb is also one of the best sounding verbs on the planet for sure!

and cool alexey i haven't tried ultrareverb.. i'm glad you mentioned this one.

update: after trying this one (as well as ultrareverb), - oracle reverb is nothing special but not a terrible one either. some of it's imaging params do intersting sounding stereo stuff but there's not much to the reverb side of this plugin. ultrareverb is way better than this one and has some really great presets.. but i still think aether sounds better imo.

Very subjective opinion. I think Eventide UltraReverb is best one.

Just grabbed this one from rutracker on your advice. Holy smokes! You weren't kidding. I have found my one and only reverb plugin. That thing is simply amazing!! Thanks much for mentioning it here!

all those reverb sounding worst like a shit, I almost never use reverb but delays are much better at any aspect, before yours saying which is the best reverb please take a suit of best equipment and golden ears, unfortunately if you have these, you'll never use reverbs.

Cool story, bro. I guess the top thousands of producers who have created the history of recorded music have been making a singular grave error. Let them know! Get the word out!

m9cao actually has a point. For most of the sounds it's best to just use delay/echo. Reverb should be used as an AUX FX and added as needed to the sounds to make them appear further or closer in the mix, making the mix sound more cohesive. Of course, you can use lots of reverb on special sounds, though, to accentuate them in the mix better.

Also, FabFilter's Pro-R or any of the Valhalla 'verbs (if you haven't tried them yet). Those are the only ones I've ever used, aside from old-school Arboretum Hyperverb, that I immediately didn't want to delete. I do like Altiverb a bit, and I want to like Lexicon PCM and IK's Classic Reverbs, but I've never managed to make them work properly in a mix.

these are the bread and butter ones to best:
TBH, soundspot plugs look nice but nothing special...
these are the 'ones to beat' for general use:
Valhalla ( vintage, room &N plate)
FabFilter R ( capable of great subtlety)
112db Red Reverb
TB Reverb 4

the rest is GAS... ( for me anyhow)
:)
