Nothing missing I can see, works great. I finally remembered how to do the setups again, got it and the pre registered as VST3 plugs and then set them up together in Cakewalk effects chain presets. Now all I have to do is load my preset and Cakewalk launches the comp and pre perfectly and I can use the same skin to use all functions, limiter, comp, auto release, and frequency dependent, just beautiful and works great.

Well, I have the original.
Tell me, do you see vectors and programs >44.1?

The comp comes as one setup and it encompasses all sample rates. There is nothing missing at all. I have already been using it in a 44.1 project and it works perfectly and compresses as it should.

Hello, first of all, thank you for this. If anyone has Nebula libraries that are not on the site, dm me for exchange.

i know this is 'old' but this thing is amazing. My knowledge of compressors is still very novice, but this is exactly what I've been looking for. With the right gain staging before it, the sounds out of my cans and speakers is sublime.

I do like the El Rey by AA and N64 lib but this is just my cup!

Sounds awesome! Love the comp on drums. Thanks TimP and ARCADiA.
Supposedly the ADR Compex was used on drums for When The Levee Breaks.

On the real unit as I understand it (correct me if I'm wrong), the limiter is not another stage but is handled by the same FET that does the compression. This leads to some interaction between comp and limiter controls.

I wonder if the limiter being a separate instance in this library (due to nebula limitations, no fault of timp) leads to different interaction of comp and limiter, or lack thereof, compared to the hardware. And if that matters.

The hardware limiter sounds amazing when crushing drums like in this video (not my video). It appears to nicely smoothen the sharp attack created by the compressor. https://youtu.be/D6N3J9yZm7Q?si=dpu7tazQ4B51NRAP

But I wasn't having as much luck with the limiter here, it adds its own sharp attack "pop" sound. Maybe that's also present in the hardware, though I don't hear it in the above video. Using lookahead above 100ms (seems awfully long but it works) smooths the "pop" but I still haven't made the limiter work for me. Love the comp though.

TL;DR Basically I'm just curious how you guys like to utilize the comp and limiter together or separately? And if anyone is knowledgeable about the hardware or nebula implementation I'd love to hear about setting the comp and limiter on the real unit.

This isn't a marketplace here. If you want to request something you can do that here. If you have something to supply, you can do it here.
