Acousticas Bricasti M7 IR Library FREE screenshot
WAV | 2009 | 204.2MB / 163.3MB
Acousticas has released Bricasti M7 IRs, a free collection of impulse response samples from a
Bricasti M7 stereo reverb processor.

Bricasti M7 IRs features:

The complete set of hardware factory presets has been captured.
The impulse response samples are in stereo interleaved WAV format, 24bit/48kHz.
A total of 121 stereo IRs, divided into the following 6 categories:
– 01 Halls
– 02 Spaces
– 03 Ambience
– 04 Chambers
– 05 Rooms
– 06 Plates

The Bricasti M7 IRs library is available as a free download.

First of all, thanks to a member of our community here for sharing the pack. I've been looking for it for quite sometime now and finally got it.

This pack is an old IR Library by Acousticas planned to be released as purchasable IR Library Pack back in 2009 (Almost 14 years ago!). Unfortunately, they failed to get approval from Bricasti and eventually canceled the plan. This one dude from Bricasti name Casey at Gearnews however suggested that it's okay to release them as Free. Acousticas are no longer in business starting from 2012 and their website where everyone can download the pack for free has been down since.

This libary is no longer available for download on the internet, all links are dead and I thought it's a good idea to archive it here, so people can have access to it.

Notes :
You have 2 options for download, 1 is the original pack as how I get it and the other one is restructured folder/file system with added graphic for quality of life enhancement when used with Altiverb. All the content remains the same.

Awesome release Dude!
Thank you so much for your dedication to the topic (Bricasti M7 IRs: — it's a kind of ethos ) and for those amazing download alternatives offered!

Guide for Altiverb Installation :

Screenshot 1

1) open Altiverb, go to Preferences (labeled 1)
2) copy the IR to your IR library collection folder and point it to the location at user IR (labeled 2)
3) tick the "Automatic IR Folder Scan" option (labeled 3)
4) to access it just pick the "User" selection on Altiverb Preset Browser and wait. It's going to take a while if you have large IR collection.

How it looks on Altiverb :

It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

There is a bricasti IR Space called Ice House............ Is it included on this IR PACK?

no, that program is a new addition on M7 v2 firmware that released at the end of 2010. These 2 packs were sampled and released in 2009.

If you need it, it's available in Slate Verbsuite Classic FG-BM7, Seventh Heaven and Reverberate 3.

thank you for this. did you check these out and can you say how they are in comparison to the samplicity set?

Samplicity's IR way superior which is kinda surprising because Acousticas other packs the Lexicons and EMTs are pretty good IMO. Also I don't really use the Samplicity's BM7 IR as it is, just using it for experimenting and mangling. I like the BM7 library in Reverberate which is the same with the one in Slate Verbsuite Classic but with more controls with the Reverberate dual convolution engine plus its built-in tools, modulation and whatnot. Can't recommend Reverberate enough, true lossless convolution dual engine, perfect for my needs.
