Orange Sky is a collection of 81 patches for the Access Virus synthesizer series. If you bought these patches from me, you should have received them both in sysex and .mid format. The bank consists of 81 patches (0-80), the rest of them (81-127) are blank and are named “Sean Blank”.

The patches were programmed directly on a Virus C and a TI2, and have been tested to make them sound as close as possible on these two generations of Viruses.
I take no responsibility on how they sound on other versions, but I will give you some tips on how to tweak them yourself, if you still want to transfer them to a Virus B or A and find any inconsistencies on how they sound, compared to what you heard in my videos.
1) I have my own standard setting, which is to combine 3 voices in unison (still in polyphonic mode!), with these settings:
Detune: between 60 and 70
Panning: between 70 and 80.
Sometimes these settings are not correctly transferred from one type of Virus to another. Please check in the single patch edit menus that these are correct.
2) Ring Modulator settings are also often not transferred correctly from one type of Virus to another. If you find the sound to be a little flat or less gritty than what you expected, try pumping up the Ring Modulator level.
3) Modulation Matrix settings may receive a bunch of useless information, that use your Cpu without any benefit to the sound.
If you see all led lights in the Mod Matrix light up, check them and disable parameters that are set to 0 (zero).
Arpeggiators
I make heavy use of LFOs on arpeggiators, to enrich the sound with harmonies and additional harmonics. Some of my arpeggiators play additional 3rds, 4ths and 5ths to the notes you are playing. If you find these additional notes to be annoying or don’t fit in your harmonic context, go to your Mod Matrix and disable any LFO modulation on Oscillator Pitch. As an alternative, you can bring the level to +44, which will play octaves.
