DCP Productions Studio 88 Piano - Voice Bank for Yamaha Classic/Motif ES (Yamaha Disklavier MK. 3) W2A W3A screenshot
W2A W3A | AudioZ Exclusive | 14.30 MB
The piano sampled for this soundbank was a Yamaha 6'1" Disklavier Mark III. Eleven inches shorter than a standard 7 foot grand, and 1 foot 1 inch longer than a standard baby grand piano, the Disklavier Mark III has a warm, solid, tight sound, good for a wide variety of musical applications from classical, jazz, and easy listening to pop, rock, and country. It's sound is by no means a huge thundering one comparable to a 9 foot or 14 foot Steinway or Bosendorfer, however, because of its unique size it does not overpower a small room, which makes it an ideal recording piano as well.

There are 32 voices in the bank. The last 8 are complimentary keyboard voices - the two harpsicords and the vibraphone from the "Virtual Grand" collections, a Wurli, Rhodes, Clav, and two B3 organs.

No sample re-tuning was done, so natural pitch is preserved, which results in more realistic sound when chords are played.

Xeraser's notes: works on every MOTIF ever (Classic, ES, XS, XF, MOXF) and the MODX/Montage. Opens fine in AWave if you want to extract the samples/instruments.

The demos on the site are broken but the piano sounds pretty damn good and the extra voices are nice. I'll record some if there's enough demand.

These will not load on a Montage. They need to be converted. Does anyone know how to convert these to load on a Montage? I think it may take someone loading these on their Motif and then saving them as a library that can load on a Montage.

You're right, my bad. I think you can do it yourself with the XF editor as described here https://it.yamaha.com/it/products/music_production/synthesizers/montage/compatibility.html at the bottom of the page. It's probably possible to get the sample-based ones to work too with John Melas' Motif tools - probably. I'll have to experiment with my own Motif one of these days. If it's really urgent you can DM me on the forum and I'll see what I can do since I haven't actually loaded any ES/Classic libraries on my XF yet.
