ASOT isnt a back in time bro, its what most trappers use as samplez to their lyrics , hiphop used 70's vinyls , its the gradfather of EDM and all these tropical men-singing-like-women club triphop tracks playin at beach parties , plenty of elements from good old goa psytrance though i give em that,

To be honest, this is very difficult, most ASOT artists produce 10 pieces on the same template. all full of similar tracks

probably like most of us once we settle for a drum kit and lead and bass sounds couple of pads to make a new album

most of sylenth,spire,serum presets i hear lately contain leads,arps,bass like these , "TrancEye - Jaguar (Original Mix) [Music Video] [Diverted Music]" or "Faraway Project - Without Fear (Goldenscan Remix)" dont know if they where released thru ASOT , very bright sounds , yes old tracks for some reason didnt sound so bright as rls these days not on the clubfloor or anywhere,maybe its that soundsystems play on higher fidelity/quality nowadays so we listen to the high freqs more
