I was expecting the Pro Edition one. Since I already had this version

But this is awesome nonetheless

I wan't terribly impressed with Serum at first.
It looked technically good, but all the presets sounded like jarring acid buzzers.
But I think we just needed more people programing for it.
Its starting to display its potential IMO.

When it comes to making your own wavetable-based patches, Serum is very hard to beat, feature-for-feature.

There's a ridiculous amount of presets available for Serum, it's obscene. I don't think the stock presets are that bad personally, but once you collect a couple thousand third party presets tailored to your particular genre, it's hard to go back... A lot of them are mix-ready, or great as starting points.
