That's not the way AudioZ works. Here people can state their opinion, and that what makes the difference compared to other websites.
Even so, hopefully opinion would be expressed with real and detailed arguments.

In this particular case, stating that Sample Depot is commercializing stolen presets does not go against the post author.
People can respect the original poster, yet state what they think about the vendor.

here's the thing, just because someone is hypocritical that doesn't mean that person can't complain about other people's wrongful behavior anymore.
and then, it's not even hypocritical. the problem here is not just that the presets presumedly were stolen, but that money is made by them and that a royalty free license is given. as R2R said in some nfo that i forgot, "when someone steals other people's music and claims it as their own, all musicians are unhappy" or something, forgot the exact wording.

Ok thanks for the info. I was just starching my head since it said part_2.zip and there was no part_1. Not trying to start a war.

Not that the zips were split but there was a missing part 1 like the
20000 Presets Part 1 and 20000 Presets Part 2

Not anything against the uploader but after downloading & checking out the presets they are indeed taken from other creators. Test Press, Touch Loops, Vandlasim & ,many others. This is basically a massive waste of hard drive space. But if your somebody that doesnt have alot of presets for serums than this is a must download.

And I thought I was a hoarder with my 37k+ Serum presets. Thanks for the share, gotta check it out.

EDIT: lmao gotta love the way these presets have been organized, bunch of folders with nonsense names and presets are all very similarly named. Good luck wading through all of those tens of thousands "_bass preset_ .fxp" files and trying to remember the exact one you liked (OK Serum has favorite feature in it but still).

As already mentioned, it is very likely that this gigantic sample pack was created by "borrowing" presets from various packs already on the market. I guess they then mass renamed all presets to circumvent copyright.
All in all, this release is interesting, you just need to do some work on the database (renaming presets and create subfolders)

Thank you very much for this release! I'm certain there's going to be loads amongst this that I can twist and bend to my needs! :D

Has anyone else had a problem with Serum crashing while initializing the bank?

If so, does anyone know of a fix for it at all?

I'm guessing it's just one specific patch, but I have no idea how to find out which one is causing the crash.

It seems this collection wasn't sorted properly(some folders and files are duplicated) or something was missing.
'! Urgency Serum Bank - Noise' and 'AZS' folder are in 'Copy_of_Noises.zip' file, but these folder are found in 'Copy_of_Serum_5000_PRESETS.zip' file too.
Moreover two '! Urgency Serum Bank - Noise' folders have 15 files of the same name, but several files are different in sizes.
And there are part 1~3 files for 'Copy_of_20000_Presets' but there is only part 2 for 'Copy_of_10000_Presets', no part 1 file.

Also some Noise files are seem to be missing from this collection. For example, there is no 'Incognet_Samples_Noise_12.wav' file for 'FDX_02 Bass Tech House 3Preset' preset.
Some Presets couldn't find the coresponding Noise files, even if the files in the collection, because the Noises sit in other folders.
Actually I can't even sure these things are the correct Noise files for the Presets, cause there is a possibility of different files of the same names(in many Expansions).

And... Content Filter of Serum window becomes almost useless.
There are only four filter menus(OneShot Bass, Pad, Seq, Synth) and each of menu has only 15, about 200, about 80, about 60 presets. All other presets are included in 'no category'(this collection has about 70000~80000 presets).

If you just want many presets, and if you don't care much about some unorganised or omitted things and filter related disadvantage, this collection would be a big gift for you.
But if you want well organised, properly installed library, I recommend you at least back up your original folders before try this.
