just a simple question:-

why all wav files are 0 sec. in length for all the librarie files
shouldn't they be at least 2 Sec. or what ?

I used it with OpenAir inside Studio one by drag, drop
but saw nothing
what did I do wrong ?1

Correct me if I'm wrong, but maybe you're thinking about it from the point of view of reverb IRs. Reverb IRs need 2 seconds or more to capture the characteristicsof a particular space.

But that amount of detail is simply unnecessary for guitar or bass cabs, because they are simpler systems. Not only this, try loading an IR from any other manufacturer. All of them would be under a second in length.

many thanks for your answer
so, it's not to be used as a Reverb IRs !! as it was mentioned in the post above:-

(Wave audio format IR's (.wav) are compatible with convolution reverb type loaders in recording software and outboard hardware units and are provided in)

what makes your answer right is when I tried them as a Reverb IR there was no effect !!

any thoughts to correct me ?!

Yes, when you try to load them as reverb IRs, you won't get any reverb, because they're too short to capture the details of any room reflection
For loading cabinet IRs, you can check out the free plugin NadIR by Ignite Amps. It's available for both Windows and Mac.

If you use NadIR to load a cab IR and use it on a source, it will sound as if the source signal was recorded through the specific speaker cabinet and mic combination as the IR.
