thanks for the info ... be useful if i needed the nks compatibilty... i just hope v2 will provide some visual feedback of modulation... having a static image of an envelope on a modern "flagship" synth is kinda unacceptable

For me to see an envelope moving is not the most important drawback.
But no "undo" and no user manual is far more annoying.

its really about modulation... when scrolling through your controllers.. easily identifying what is doing what with visual feedback is useful and efficient .... staring at knobs and figuring out takes time away from other things... This is 2019 feeback should be standard even for new free soft synths

I can't see any difference in this at all and what is included with the full release. Another annoying thing is NI appear to be using a yet further location (than they have previously) to install an instruments presets! This library installs to:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Massive X Factory Library

Why the hell can't they just use the same location for all of their software's data!

also massive has envelopes that don't visually react when u turn those knobs - so obviously they were just smoking something reeeeallly good dmt when they were developing this.

The library THAT comes with the plugin does install in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Massive X Factory Library. However, THIS installer gives you the option to install the Factory Library in ANY location you choose. With this installer, the USER presets folder get s moved to C:\*your user name*\My Documents\Native Instruments\User Content\Massive X .

Man... it reminds of Razor in the way it looks and is just about as exciting. I'm not going to bother with this synth because frankly, it does not excite me. It sounds WAY too digital (cold and sterile) and doesn't come close to O2 or Zebra 2 (or ANY Uhe synths) in my opinion... but that's just my observation right now. I'm sure I'll change my mind once it starts to sound good.

Aside from all that... this is version 1.0.0. There will be 52 more versions in the next year (one per week!)!

Need the answer to this. Starting with Native Access gives me the wavetables but no presets. Library folder just has a bunch of dll and exe files

I've done this. I have all the wavetables loaded and ready. However, I only have 5 presets (2 init and 3 QSG) I couldn't find the presets anywhere in the factory library folder, and when I press rescan presets, it only scans the wavetables.

I think Uploadboy is best :) Good Speed and Less limitation, also resume is pretty good.
