Since the release of Diva, Joseph was amazed by the unparalleled sound quality of the synth. He challenged himself to create his signature emotional, alive and moving sounds using only two envelopes and 2 LFO-s.

So here it is: 136 greatly musical patches.

A new soundset for lovers of lyrical, ethereal, mystical, emotional, evolving, soft, airy and transparent pads, strings and voxes. You can find thick, dramatic and warm analogue synths, soundscapes, basses, leads, plucks. There are playful and magical keys, arpeggios and BPM synchronized pads, plus a handful of useful drums, hits, impacts and percussions.

in the valiant pursuit at creating original, unique music - one can never have enough presets as a springboard to help getting to the point of making great tracks quicker. instant gratification is such a boon in aiding the feedback loops of creativity (but, i guess presets are a bane too: if one just lazily, non-judiciously uses them). i digress. anyway thank you majestic for this!

Or maybe I'd rather just choose from one of the 60,000+ preset patches I have for diva, zebra, and omnisphere. Sorted by sound type of course, that are just as good if not better than anything I could come up. I'm a producer and songwriter, not a sound designer.

I'm going to give this a try... but to be honest, I find his sounds very boring and "been there, done that" sounding. It's as if he's stuck in the never-ending Vangelis cycle... all his patches sound like they're from the Chariot's of Fire OST (which I can't stand to this day), with all the synthesized horn/trumpet sounds.
I have his previous releases for Zebra (two of them I bought) but never use them as much as I try. I end up replacing his sounds with The Unfinished's or even Howard Scarr's creations. Their's are so much more emotive (to me)... I suppose Joseph Hollo's sounds are for someone else. We all have different trigger points and I'm wired a little hot anyway... but "that's what makes the world go 'round".

Lol! I find Vangelis, Chariots of Fire (OST and movie) along with the CS-80's brass (horn/trumpet sounds) to be kings of the world.

These sounds are indeed for people who crave Vangelis OST. Obviously not you as you stated it quite clearly...

The movie is not mentioned in the description, but if those sounds are really similar, I'll pass.

So LuckySevens comment is useful, as it describe and compare the sounds of the preset pack to something we know, instead of subjective words like "lyrical, ethereal, mystical, emotional, evolving, soft, airy" etc ..

In my case it's more about time than size, I dont have size problem (lol)

Obviously that does not rest value to the post in itself.
I'm sure many members are interested in trying this soundset.

There are many way to use any soundset so it cant be limited to what it is only, as you can edit presets and use them as starting point.
And exactly because descriptions are generally vague and demo are subjective, it's really good to be able to try it for free before buying it.

I think it depends. Sometimes a person thinks logically/pragmatically/practically, other times they think emotionally and abstractly. So the former requires already existent examples, whilst the latter is when you are fully creative and what has come before matters not - when time/financial pressures are non-existent.

Some people are stuck in one mode, and their creativity suffers, but they are good at getting it done. The trick to keep one balanced enough, because the mere mention of "lyrical" is enough to explode a thousand different ideas and one of them will be useful within the context - even if the overall piece is very far from requiring such emotion or concept.

Well, Majestic, after reading this thread, I *guess I'll find the patience to download this 1MB soundset via Zippylink and hope that if I don't find it useful, it won't be *too difficult a task to remove this behemoth from my computer forever.

Good thing it's on Zippyshare, because Uploaded or Rapidgator would take an entire hour to download a entire 1045 Kilobytes.

It took all of 1.5 seconds on UL... and I decided to download it and check it out. Haven't heard it still... but there may be a call for Vangelis-type garbage that pays well (I do a lot of TV stuff) and I'll be on it, wearing my greased-back Vangelis wig.
