I didn't really get how the template was helping in the video, all I saw was midi blocks with chords and you drawing in notes.
Is the chords the essential part, or is there more to it even if you already know chord structures?

If you can memorise every single chord then this would only help people who like me. with a bad memory. It gets you quickly writing something that will sound ok, that can be worked on fully later hopefully to sound great by adding passing notes or slight changes.

This is the second version of the template, the first had all the chords with different rhythmic elements, but it was to much work to use so I simplified it in this version.
