To change and automate your VST’s parameters from Push: Hit the ‘device’ button on Push. Then hit the ‘in’ button (right facing arrow) twice. The banks will now appear. You can now change and automate your VST’s parameters from Push.

For Spark hit device, then tap the bass drum (bottom left pad) lightly so that ‘bass drum’ appears on the bottom left of Push’s screen (it shouldn’t need to make a bass drum sound). Then hit the ‘in’ button twice – the parameter banks will now appear.
If you can dream it you can do it

You also don't need to use racks to save automation parameters, just right click on the device 'save default configuration'.

This is great thanks for the upload . With all due respect to the forum this pop up stuff going on is almost making it impossible to log in from my computer . I don't know what changed recently but it's getting to the point of being stupid . I got pop ups as a member logged in but now i am getting them not logged into and get even access the log in page .
always appreciate the effort

Installation:

MAC:

In Finder, place the unzipped instrument folders in Ableton 9 user library/presets/instruments/instrument rack (if you can’t find your black Ableton user library folder you can put ‘user library’ into spotlight and click there). Place the Spark/Spark VDM folder in user library/presets/instruments/drum rack.
Then go to Live on your computer screen and go to the same destination on Live’s screen (Places/user* library/presets/instruments/instrument rack – or drum rack for Spark/Spark VDM). Find the folders there and drag and drop them into Places.
Wait for Places to update itself(and here you may also have to take the USB cable out of Push then plug it in again) , then scroll down with Push 1 and find the VSTs there. For Push 2, look in ‘user folders’ at the top of Push 2’s browse menu
Once you’ve selected and loaded a preset, press ‘device’ on Push 1 then press ‘in’ (right pointing arrow, under device) twice to find the parameter banks. For Push 2, press the button above the name of the VST twice when on the main screen, and the banks will appear along the bottom of the screen.
For Spark: if necessary, change the settings on the Spark GUI (only once), then reload Spark. Go to preferences and ensure the ‘host’ light is switched off and the drum midi map and midi map settings are set to ‘general midi’. To find the parameter banks for Spark, touch the bass drum pad lightly before hitting the in button twice as usual.

WINDOWS:

Download and extract the file from the link provided and find it in your downloads folder.
Locate on your computer (windows explorer): userlibrary/presets/instruments/instrument rack. Place the Spark/ Spark VDM folder in user library/presets/instruments/drum rack.Drag the extracted folders from the downloads folder to the instrument rack folder (drum rack for Spark/Spark VDM)
Go to live’s screen and find ‘user library’ in ‘places’.
Go to userlibrary/presets/instruments/instrument rack (drum rack for Spark/Spark VDM) in Live and find the folders there
Drag and drop the file into places
Wait for Places to update itself (and here you may also have to take the USB cable out of Push then plug it in again) , then scroll down with Push 1 and find the VSTs there. For Push 2, look in ‘user folders’ at the top of Push 2’s browse menu
