Meet audio visionary Eddie Kramer, the uncrowned king who shaped the sound of the legends that became immortal icons of rock and who in the process became a royalty of rock himself. This is his collection of drums and a true homage to classic rock as we know it.

The Legacy of Rock SDX zones in on Eddie’s formative years in the buzzing sixties London scene and continues on through the seventies. It includes five drum kits, each sourced and tailored to mirror a significant era or sound in Kramer’s remarkable career. All drums were recorded in Kramer’s studio of choice, Studio 1 at AIR in London, and captured through signal chains of vintage microphones as well as handpicked, rare and custom equipment scouted specifically for these sessions.

Take it from the man who only in the first two decades of his career managed to work with The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, record the entire Jimi Hendrix catalog, capture several of Led Zeppelin’s most pioneering albums and man the board as the original Woodstock festival was caught on tape. already got those Paiste 2002 sound edges in my mix!

so hard to find some hats with a decent amount of velocities. these sound the best and feel like there are more velocity hits.

I can't bring myself to delete the 5.1 mics because even if you're not doing surround they still works as extra ambient mics, more options for sound design etc. Plus in another year or two when hard drives are dirt cheap and huge you'll only have the light versions of these and it won't be as easy to track it down as fast. Toontrack is worth every GB.

Always find myself agreeing with you Mr Jones (aka the Midi Whore). I need to upgrade my 2tb ext drive for a 4tb, in the meantime I made room by removing Death & Darkness libraries, always have backups of the full libraries so when I get the bigger drive, will put them back on. Size really does matter in this case. Now to find some time to play with these quality sounding drum kits.

It's worth it for these huge ones. I skipped out on the Superior Drummer stuff for a really long time because of the download sizes and the time it would take on a free download, but I finally caved and went for the premium account. Glad I did. EZD to SD is like going from a Ford Pinto to a Ferrari.

I dont think so cause it should need authorization for legit VSTI but we can use with unlocked VSTI. If there could be keygen it could work but i didnt see keygen for this product.

I just got another external 8TB WD_Black for $200.
My Toontrack folder alone is 1.5TB.

Because of the size of some of these you just about have to use external hard drives. Place the folder where you want and then go into settings / library paths in Superior Drummer to point to its location. The program has to be installed on local drive though.

Do you guys know why I'm not getting the whole Legacy Of Rock Midi grooves listed after I've installed the library? Yes, I've dropped the contained Legacy OF Rock Midi folder in my existing Midi library, and SD3 started the indexing after the start, but when I watch the youtube videos, there are a lot of more grooves listed then I got.
what's the difference?

i've got an issue with this extension.
i downloaded it on torrent but now, i've got the message that the sound library is damaged only when i try to launch it, not when i add it in the library setting.
do you know the cause ?
