Must be a younger generation thing then (im 20 almost 21) ? Yous probably grew up to different music.. Although i like most music (Classical, opera, cinematic, rock, hip hop, hardcore and edm only music i really dislike is jazz ) Most people i know listen to music like this..

That's why they churn out bullshit music like Skrillex because the younger generation doesn't know any better, it's really fucking sad. How could you guys when you're not exposed to it? Then you guys go on to imitate that music and it's a vicious cycle. That's why quality music is slipping out of the spotlight and flashy trash is so prevalent, it's like the McDonalds of the music world. I like heavy music but not shitty music, there is a difference. In a fight the music I listen to is like stealthy ninja and Skrillex is like that megalomaniac that had to much to drink and talks a lot of loud trash before a blade gets buried in his fucking cunt skull because he can't fight for shit.

Narcissistic Cannibal = Am I the only one that finds this a dumb ass name for a song? I like Korn (a lot more when I was younger) but now I don't really listen to them as much.

I know what your saying and i think i have had to much to drink and am talking trash but the thing is most of us are exposed to certain types of music growing up from our parents so we do know better but most people follow what is "cool" and not stay true to them selfs.. as a example i chucked on the john digweed the other night and got so much shit for it but i left it on, an what idc and the people i know know that about me. Not meaning to argue with you or anything but yea idk the Psychology of music that makes us like it or hate it.

Let me prove my point: Before I came here I bet you that you had no idea who the hell Front Line Assembly were. That is a crime my friend to know Skrillex and not know FLA. I'm not blaming you, it's just an example how this McDonald's shit is drowning out real quality. Skrillex wouldn't even be here if not for the groundwork that was laid by bands like FLA and yet so many people have no idea who they are. Shit Skrillex probably never heard of FLA. It's a sad day for music.

Well I'm glad that there is at least somewhere where one can still connect with quality music, it's been a goal of mine for the forums. Thanks for the compliment, yeah I tend to think and say things that might not be the popular thing to say but I think it's important that there are people that point those things out. In the end you'll like whatever you like but at least you'll know that there is other stuff out there and maybe you'll like some of that as well.
