HandHeldSound presents: THE FRAME.

A Frame Drum sample library for Native Instruments' Kontakt Software sampler. Featured here, is a Remo, John Bergamo signature series, 16'' Frame Drum.Though simple in design, it remains a hi-end instrument with a pronounced, unique sound.These samples were recorded using Bergamo's preferred approach (with drum held between the legs) allowing for a more punchy character. Recording from this position, with both hands free, enabled me to capture a greater variety of flavors from the drum witha vast array of articulations. This resulted in a much broader sound palette which enhanced, and extended the use of the Frame Drum. It also unleashed its potential to easilyfit a greater number of music styles while still retaining its ethnic sound.

A unique hand-percussion instrument for Native Instruments' Kontakt software sampler. "Big Bottle" can produce a vast array of sounds, so it was sampled accordingly.A large number of samples was recorded,with multisampled programming, allowing "Big Bottle" to become, respond, and sound like a live, organicpercussion instrument. Its resulting unique, punchy sound, can cut through any mix and will refresh any chosen style.
