E-MU Emulator II Sound Banks Collection sf2 v1.0-SoniQ screenshot
SoniQ | Date: 2015.05.04 | Size: 697,05 MB
This release is the attempt of a sound bank collection as
complete as possible for the Emulator II in sf2 format. The
files were collected in original .eii-format and were then
converted into soundfonts by using the free tool emxp.

The included libraries are the most important factory and
commercial libraries for the EII, you could buy then:
EMU Systems Library (factory library)
OMI Universe of Sounds Vol. 1-3
FM Designs Vol. 1
K-Muse Library (by Richard Burmer)

The previously available 5CD collection of EII sounds in Kontakt and WAV format seemed to be a conversion of the Emulator II sound banks for the Emulator III, which grossly differ from the original sound banks of the EII.
This release is the real deal!
Enjoy!

Thanks a million: It's been at least a year that I was looking for this set.

Weirdly I don't see the 22 Loon Garden preset in Presence but I can see it in Win Explorer....

The S1 Browswer does not show it under 22 Loon Garden, but as "Loon Garden at the end of the list. It is in the factory library folder.

Thanks a lot,
I assume you ment 'Loon Preset' and not 'Loon Garden'.

Yeah, right. EMU called it this way within the .eii file, but wrote "Floppy 22: Loon Garden" into their list of banks on paper.

cheers 4 this, yeah these are really useful sounds, used by many producers in years gone.

btw.I use to have an EIII rack years ago these would have sounded sweet converted and loaded into that beast, those things sell for a fortune now, damn thing was always broken tho but i got it very cheap at the time from a studio I worked at.

I had an E4 that was ok too and also an emu esynth at one point, pretty nice but i was offered an eII last year for a cheap price 650 gbp, was worried about the reliability so didnt bite and i would have had to sacrifice another piece of kit from my studio to even get it.

I didnt really like the sound of e4 ultra series, to me they sounded a bit thinner, but ease of use is good!:)

love the sound of hardware samplers....

OK, after this one we need the E-MU Emax complete set (assuming it exists).

Although SoniQ wrote in their Nfo, that they cannot take requests, you might have luck with this one…
