The speakers have been turned up and the energy is high with That Sounds latest offering, Pop Rock Drums. Created by Pete Parada and recorded in Impostar Syndrum Studios in Tennessee, this pack has drawn inspiration from Paramore, Weezer and Alanis Morissette through to Olivia Rodrigo and Haim.

You will feel the energy and passion of rock music but the drive and punch of pop music with these drums giving you the inspiration and the drummer you need to bring your musical vision to life.

This pack contains only drums. The melodic instruments in the demo are not apart of the pack but are for you to hear the drums in context.

I don't know this Pete Parada guy but seen The Offsprings being one of the band he played with. Loops are so fucking generic, it's like the type of drummer that when he got home I'll edit everything he played, resequence everything so it has a little life to it. Everything processed to the death with distortion all over the place. The thing with distorted processed sound like that, they are not stretch friendly, you kinda have to use it at its BPM or else that will be obvious artifacts even player at 0.8x or 1.2x. Upsample to 48 will also create obvious artifact. I think all the newer samples from That Sound is like that.
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.
