the sad part is... it probably is. a lot of people just take free drum kits, put plugins on them and repackage them as "signature sounds".

This is 100 percent True. SO called Sample makers on youtube are doing the same thing. They take loops from looperman and rename the files like it's their own creations. By the way this kit was a NON-Splice release under Producer Loops before if I remember correctly
