by the way if we are here to discuss about libraries… well .. sorry for Anne but i DO like the fact to try and buy after…. and after 1 short test (50min) i'm sure i won't buy this one… it's off my HD already… The clarinet for example sounds like an old untuned Bontempi and is far for a real clarinet to me. Cinesamples should "maybe" take lessons from Sample Modeling concerning woodwinds and horns. for me every other sample libraries are fare to equal sample modeling in that domain. proof is that i bought practically all their libraries…. cause i likes it and bought it.
making good sample library is not renting sony pictures studios in LA and spending all the money you can get in Dennis Sands… (for me this is only commercial and marketing)
Making a good Library is first, reflexions, engineering… and EARS !!! if you don't hear that most part of your woodwinds instruments sounds like an awful 1984's synthesizer… then yes, i can get why you don't understand nobody buy your stuffs… but believe me it's not because of piracy… (by my side at least cause i'm always buying what i like… and then use…)
i'm not collecting libraries but i'm always searching for the best sound (realistic) ever. cinewinds is far to be one of them (to my ears at least… sorry for who i would offend)

i dunno if it's the best bagpipes i've heard (i don't remember editor but i've heard one before that was really excellent)… but my brother plays bagpipes… and well…. legato is not bad but… too much synthetic still IMO.
but thing is the same… yelling this is the best woodwinds bank ever cause it was recorded there by this and that guy… we'll Problem is not the sound of banks here but the editing and cinesamples that is proudly satisfied by the result … I don't say i would do better… far from it i'm not even able to create a single script in kontakt.
But some editor like sample modeling (as i said previously)… are not doing such a mess and are, in term of quality, far over this… IMO still.

Audio demos are good.
Then testing sustained notes are poor looped in some instruments.

THANKS for sharing for testing before buy wink , I m a little disappointed with it s quality.

Try: Push sustain pedal and push a note = sustained notes = to hear loops.

7 points lib. (for me of course)
