Of course I know about Grassow, my friend. I particularly like what he did with Jim Cole, the overtone singer. My favorite ambient artist is Steve Roach! He really took it to another level.

Steve Roach is one of the few that raised Ambient music to almost "Spiritual" levels. With his music nobody needs Drugs nor Mushrooms to make (more or less) wonderful trips!!

No, not true for me! STEVE ROACH's music is unique. Those you mention do another type of Electronic Ambient. You could easily understand this by knowing that Roach lives in the Sonoran desert just outside Tucson, Arizona. The surroundings where you live have an important influence on your music! In Roach's case it's the "silent", rough nature of the desert.

I used to like his music, but it's a little too dark, when you take his whole output.

As I rise in frequency, I leave behind a lot of the things I used to like.
Among them is his music.
However I do still like quite a few pieces. ;)
