My prob was using usb external...it usually works fine but on this havoc I used my external esata and all is fine. Also some of the newer kontakt titles are perhaps more demanding and sometimes need my better esata...but hoards of older ones work fine on usb external.

You could say the same about every other piece of software... VST's, sample packs, etc.. All more of the same. However, there is crap and there is gold. This instrument here is high quality stuff.

moved the library to my C drive from the external drive and still getting this message
this patch is encrypted and cannot be loaded unless the respective Library is registered properly I'm using Kontakt unlocker 5.3.1 on windows 7 getting this message with Impact Soundworks Archtop as well every other library I download here works great?????????????????????????????????????????

I have a friend that screwed up his pc so he can't even load any librarys now...kontakt corupt or he screwed it up somehow....but maybe you just have to go to library tab in kontakt and select add library. Try first in standalone

This might sound a bit obvious, but make sure you "Run as administrator" when you go to add the library. lol

Instruments open in K 5.2.1 and if you make your own multis that will work too.

But if you want to open the premade multis, you do need 5.3.x.

Had the same problem. Look in the samples folder. There is a picture content there that needs to be moved to the Kontalt pictures folder.

and PS,,, does anyone else have an issue with the library crapping out the cpu of Kontakt,, seems to take up a lot of power,, esp on the multi,,,

Is it just me but I find it rather disappointing that there doesn't seem to be a way to reorder the slices of loops. Eventhough you can add all these fx it's still sound repetitive to me and not all that usable.
