A tiny music box, sampled and spread across the keys, coupled with a bespoke Atmosphere Layer to create playful or mysterious metallic plucks.

Thanks to its distinctive Age parameter, Music Box is just as capable of crafting delicate, twinkling melodies as it is of conjuring dark, eerie ambiences.

This function introduces subtle (or pronounced) detuning and processes the sound to create a darker timbre, ideal for horror scores.

The built-in Atmosphere Layer, crafted from manipulated music box recordings, adds a dreamy sustain to the music box sound. Neither strictly a reverb nor a pad, this layer merges seamlessly with the dry samples to produce lush, otherworldly tails.

The Interface



Age
– Boosts the transient of each hit to add more attack/ punch

Damping
– Dampen the release of the played sample.

Atmosphere
– Control the level of the Atmosphere Layer and press [S] to solo it

Reverb
– Controls the stereo widening effect, turn clockwise to widen the signal, turn fully anticlockwise for a mono signal.

Velocity Response
– Control how much the volume of the instrument is controlled by the velocity input of your MIDI device.
