kind of sounds a little more like a theremin at times

Yeah definitely ... almost feels like some cockney from the 1950's chirping away lol ... but at times quite digital .. curious lol

It absolutely sounds like a theremin especially on the low register. I don't know why but it even feels as if it was being transposed, the glides feel unnatural.

This is an instrument every single human being has freely available.
You don't even have to be on tune to record it, can rather use any auto-tuning software afterwards.
So, the usefulness of this library is questionable at most, especially with the sound that comes out of it.
The vibrato in the demo song is unrealistic, unless the whistler sit on a washing machine during the presentation.
