Drums Of War 2 is a powerful follow-up to the classic Drums Of War library, now with Kontakt Player and NKS encoding!

With the original Drums Of War 1 library focusing on capturing a huge sound, embodied in cinematic textures, we wanted to create a follow-up with specific instrumentation and production techniques to provide a new way of working. We recorded individual percussion instruments, and we created Ensemble patches by double, triple, and quadruple-tracking. This is a powerful effect for creating a larger sound with realistic performance.

thank you Talula, just trying to understand their description. since drums of war 2 was originally described followup to the classic drums of war when it was released 11 years ago. but this version requires 6.6.1 so it must be different somehow

On Mac use the Kitty scripts, which are available here. There are other solutions for PC. A quick search will lead you in the right direction.

All I get is

'This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed'

Odd, because DOW 1 does work.

Do you have the Add Library .exe? sometimes it gets installed where you installed the kontakt standalone app. you need to use that to add new libraries that show up like this. search your computer for 'Add library .exe' once you find it, pin it to your taskbar (windows) or create a shortcut to it on your desktop ready for next time.

As Dark6ixer mentioned, this way is very helpful. Personally, I have stopped adding my libraries to KONTAKT and only withdraw the Instruments from the explorer. And the only time I get the same error message is when I have neglected the updates with KONTAKT PORTABLE. So how you choose to work with KONTAKT make sure to always be up to date with the software.

I did use the add library.exe but I still got the dreaded message. Tried deleting it from the registry and re-installing but still get the same message. Is there a way round? I hate being a dumbass.
