Rippling and Dreamy
Guzheng, as one of the most representative Chinese instruments, first appeared around the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC), then became extremely popular during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 AD) and spread to all neighboring areas ever since (e.g., Guzheng is the forefather of Japanese Koto). Guzheng was originally a rather simple instrument with only five strings. After all the years of evolution, today's Guzheng has twenty-one strings and is still widely used in all kinds of Chinese music.

Guzheng has a unique, rippling sound character. The playing techniques developed for Guzheng are also Extraordinary Live Performance Playability

ChineeGuzheng II has an extensive sampleset which contains various types of tremolo, slide, glissando, and strumming. The note range is from A2 to G7 (for most patches).

With Kong Audio's professional arrangement which has been highly complimented by various reviewers, playing with ChineeGuzheng II is an inspiring and enjoyable experience. Like all Kong Audio plugins, instead of a dead set of rigid samples, ChineeGuzheng II is marked with unparalleled playability which hasn't been achieved before in the Chinese instrument libraries.

I was about to say something similar. Those instruments sounds pretty nice, but are to heavy. I already have to much stuff that i don't use. Anyway those are some dope releases

they're heavy because the files they use are in .wav, not kontakt's compressed .ncw format. you can do a "collect samples/batch compress" within kontakt and save the libraries into another folder. when it is finished, you need to copy any .nkc or .nkr files from the old folder(the one that has all the .wavs in it) and any documentation, snapshots, or IR files(if any) into the new one, rename the old folder, then do a "batch resave" on the new folder, relink all the new .ncw files - then you can delete the old folder. i've found this method cuts the libs down to half size (give or take). sadly this process doesn't work on registered libs(but those typically always use ni's compressed .nkx files )

Wow!! You think 5GB(8GB for this one) for a library of an exotic, culturally significant instrument is "oversized"? If you have a bunch of insignificant(redundant) "western" instrument libraries 20, 30, 40, and even 50GB+ on your computer like I do, then you have to ask yourself WHY does 8GB bother you?

A little advice: Stay FAR AWAY from Hans Zimmer's stuff. His piano is 211GB. Yeah, that's 211 with no decimals. HaHa!!!
Learn how to make tight, radio-ready mixes with the STOCK plugins in your DAW. After that, THEN you can horde out!
