& This, too, is exactly the sort of thing I like... Makes me so tempted to try out the latest Kontakt, but I know if I mess with it, everything will go wrong and several older libraries probably won't be recognized any more *sulk*

I'm not a fan of huge libraries (mainly due to total lack of HDD space and power); I like the fact that this one is relatively small to most others.
Hmm... Any recommendations?

Not from the top of my head, but I do have a 2TB drive dedicated only to Kontakt and Omnisphere libraries I have been gathering and I am 100% sure there are dozens of those "ethereal sounds" libraries, it is all the same thing... Those are just bread and butter samples drenched in reverb, nothing you can't do better with your sampler.

I have tried 50+ libraries with Kontakt 6 and every single one worked, but iIm not telling you to update, that's up to you.
Plus Im running 5 & 6 together, without a problem. ( but its only been a few hours, so who can say if things will stay being ok )

Hi Guys! I found the solution!

How to make Analog Dreams and Ethereal Earth appear in Kontakt 6.0.2?
If you've already tried and do not show up, just follow these steps and it will work.

- Delete Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.Analog Dreams.plist and com.native-instruments.Ethereal Earth.plist
- Delete User/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.Analog Dreams.plist and com.native-instruments.Ethereal Earth.plist
- Delete Library/Preferences/App Support/Native Instruments/Service Center/Analog Dreams.xml and Ethereal Earth.xml

Now, just use Kontakt version 5.6.6 to re-add Analog Dreams and Ethereal Earth library

Attention! USE KONTAKT 5.6.6, Don't use another version to add.
