TRULY UNIQUE PERCUSSION
A unique and expansive collection of different stick types played on various "found" objects. STICKS offers many interesting combinations including a steel brush played on a cardboard box, a timpani mallet played on an old wooden drawer, and a bamboo cajon stick played on an 8-foot long piece of sheet metal. In total, there are 80 different combinations of sticks and objects to fill a large variety of different musical styles and settings.

STICKS & SURFACES
An extensive amount of time went into searching for the exciting and quirky sounds included in this instrument. Kitchens, offices, and even dumpsters were raided in the quest for surfaces to record. Every instrument was recorded dry and in stereo for maximum flexibility when it comes to your mix. Take a listen to the performances of a few of the sounds using the onboard sequencer.

FOUR ENGINES, ONE PATCH
A powerful GUI offers four playback “engines” allowing you to edit, play, and blend up to four unique patterns and sounds from just one Kontakt patch. Each engine allows you to select the sound you want to use and either perform your rhythm part manually or use the built-in sequencer.

POWERFUL SEQUENCER
Each sequencer allows you to control not only the velocity, but also the pitch and pan of each step for completely unique performances of these instruments.

ADD EFFECTS
Craft your sound with the seven built-in effects: Equalizer, Flanger, Phaser, Transient Master, Compressor, Delay, and Reverb.

POWERFUL. SIMPLE. VITAL.
The Vital Series aims to bring producers, songwriters, and composers easy to use and highly detailed instruments that are necessary for any music production. Every entry in the Vital Series focuses on delivering unique libraries with an immense value at an affordable price.

DESIGNED FOR KOMPLETE KONTROL
Vital Series: Sticks has been designed for seamless integration with the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series and Maschine, offering you a unique hands-on experience. Manipulate Sticks’ interface using the controls of all NKS compatible hardware.

Which version of Kontakt you need for it? v5.7.1 Just for the info.

I'll pass. I love my v5.5.2 too much and have too many found sounds already.

You can't install it on anything less then OSX 10.11 (or higher) and you need Kontakt 5.7.1 (or higher)... which I have both but I can't add the library. It says "Vital Series Sticks could not be loaded. The file format is not supported or corrupt". I've never see THAT error message before.

I add libraries K5.7+ using K5 5.6.0 and everything requiring K5 5.7+ (Thrill, Vital Series Mallets, some newer Spitfire and 8Dio, etc.) has been added without issue, except for this library.

Has anyone else had problems with this library? I've looked at the Plist and NICNT files and they look fine but I might be missing something...

(I'll throw it away and download it again...)

Hey LuckySevens - Yeah that’s a weird message, which I haven’t seen before either.. Sounds like redownloading might be in order.. So I tried with no success to load this using 5.6.0 but I did however have luck loading with 5.6.6.. Good Luck!
