The 'Hank Tank drum' or Propane Drum , is an inspired instrument, created using a reagular propane tank!!
The tank,which can be templated and cut , to almost any desired tuning!! And on the bottom side, a tuned 'resonator hole' is cut out in order to help with pitch control on the tounges or to induce rubber materials used in dampening the inside of the tank from any overtones.

I created these kontakt sample sets, From my first attempt, at building one of the drums of my own. And its not all fancy with tonz of layering; (that'll come later, as I learn to master this drum thru some time.)

And its been an experience learning how to play one of these, and to learn all the different tunings!!

Ive made 4 different kontakt files in all, but give a listen to the 'Rotor / EFx file I made, it came out sounding like a lush beautiful Clean Fender Rhodes piano!! 'wOw!!'
