Native Instruments has introduced Action Strings – a phrase-based instrument, featuring a 60-piece string orchestra, that’s designed to let you create ‘epic, blockbuster sound’.

Performed by the FILMharmonic Orchestra Prague, Action Strings offers with over 14GB of musical phrases. The orchestra is made up of a high ensemble featuring 22 violins, eight violas and six cellos, as well as a low ensemble containing ten violas, eight cellos and six basses. The phrases range from basic rhythmic patterns to intricate melodies, each recorded live in every key, and in two dynamic levels.

I asked this someplace else, but I will ask again here if someone doesn't mind answering... I have legit Ultimate Komplete 10 or whatnot, these are not included ... for that reason and other libraries I want to test out, I also have K'd Kontakt running on my system...

so my question is: can I update something like "this" (action strings) from NI's service center, as of course it doesn't see my serial number or whatnot, but is this and other releases tied to a k'd version of Kontakt being able to open them? or is it just that a K'd Kontakt CAN open them regardless.... just asking.... thanks!

I think cracked products work only with cracked kontakt. This is my understanding from various such type of questions asked before. I could be wrong.

I know that "unauthorized" libraries added to Kontakt will only work with K'd Kontakt, (at least until they time out etc...), but I was wondering if the libraries provided like this, are they simply the untouched installs from NI for the most part, or is something done to them in order for them to be properly loaded in K'd Kontakt.... it would obviously be easier just to update via service center, (obviously not the k'd APP itself, just the sample libraries...)

(I have also "authorized" k'd versions AFTER THE FACT that I then purchased them in Service Center with no problems.... things like the piano library "The Gentlemen" etc with no problems that I know of...)....

Hey Sisyphus..

as far as i know, these libraries are untouched, thts why we need our Kontakt updates provided at audioz to be "UNLOCKED". That means they ripped off the hint that you have to activate the library via sc if you put it that way. It also means that you can run any library you want..even if you have a copy of your friends library who has bought it legally.

But in the end it isnt possible to run such library on a kontakt you bought.
