the demo didn't really catch my ears but hopefully there is some stuff I can pull from this.. a kick here a snare there. I have to say I've pulled some really good stuff out of some of your previous uploads. One of my main problems with deciding to use maschine as my main choice for production is I wanted some more polished sounding drums that were professionally put together.. the problem with that is I like boombap so most kits that say they're boombap usually don't have that true boombap feel so in order to build a solid boombap drum library that had a polished sound.. I've been taking a kick here.. a snare there, etc. recently I got some time to actually sort thru the stuff that I have and I have to say... I managed to put together a solid boombap kick & snare library. I still have vinyl and sample for chops but I kinda lost my love for raw unprocessed vinyl "DRUM" samples (after a while you kinda hit the wall and feel you've chopped every kick and snare or just don't feel like wasting time looking for drums when you could be chopping other stuff that hasn't been used to death) and ever since I left the SP1200/MPC alone.... I don't plan on spending hours in SoundForge to process every drum sample from vinyl anymore. I definitely appreciate the work that you guys do with the uploads. A lot of these kits I would spend money on.. actually paid for the BoomBap Legends from producer's choice and it wasn't bad... but for the money... I definitely didn't use most of the sounds found on there.

Like Spacely,i too have watched a lot of his videos and he's a really cool and knowledgeable dude.
I even copped his book about making chords using the MPC.
It's good to see there are still some Boom Bap lovers out here and as soon as i get a chance i'll upload my personal kit,if that's allowed.
