changing file to iso dose not work for me CDXtract still dose not recognize it dunno

If I remember correctly, you can just mount .nrg images normally with Toast (or whatever), then open CDXtract. It should load the disc then. It's been a while since I had to deal with .nrg (Nero) files, though.

Try to mount these '.nrg' images with 'DAEMON Tools' Lite (or Pro if available). Then when mounted (e.g. in 'D:\', 'E:\',... ), launch your Kontakt Engine, refresh the 'Browser', locate your mounted virtual CD within it,
open it to see its content... and if all is working fine, you should to see
its full content along the Kontakt 'Browser', then you know the follow ! wink

P.S: It seems to me that the simply fact to rename a '.nrg' image to an '.iso' one, for example, isn't so indicate. It's rather preferable to mount it as its original format, then eventually to make an .iso image of it

Hy guys, normally Kontakt can open AKAI soundbank only if u mount your .nrg or .iso with daemontools .
A quick way on a Mac with OSX 10.6.8 snow leopard (as i'm)is to use CDXTRACT : http://www.sendspace.com/file/t2dqvo
CDXTRACT is very easy to use, on the link provided you'll find also user-manual.

Use "Extreme sample converter" for opened, lesson & convert all iso format....this is the best !! CDXTRACT is recommended for the image format bin. ex: E-MU image >> CDXTRACT....ex: Akai iso image >> extreme sample converter.
