Thanks!

Almost 70GB. For presets

Is there any way to upload only what's been added since the last release of these packs to save people downloading the HUGE amounts of GBs again?

Hehe. I didn't notice the size until I clicked on the peeplink and the links didn't fit on the screen. I don't think I'll live long enough to audition that many presets.

Anyone know of a software I can load up these 70 links and download automatically? I do have a Rapid Gator premium account.

jDownloader is reported to contain adware. Were you aware of that? Thanks anyway.

You should not click on everything when you install it - then it's fine.
btw there'a a adfree version existing just google for it.

Read properly when installing and you can choose to reject to install anything extra. I have used for years with zero issues and zero aware, so this is untrue, in case anyone else is wondering.

There are a lot of installers out there working like this, building these traps.
You should always be aware what you are doing - and not just click on everything and always choose the easiest pre-given way.

It would probably take Serum 1-2 hours to rebuild it's database every time you save a new preset (arguably the most poorly implemented aspect of it.)

Aside from being ridiculously slow, it's pretty silly it doesn't differ automatic rebuilding until a certain # of new presets are added and can't include 1 new preset in a database of 100K without completely starting over.

Yes, they should have changed that years ago. It's a disastrous method...
Even Sylenth has a way better way of dealing with tons of presets.

Many Serum presets are sometimes over 1mb (without the wavetable) while other well-known synths are usually just a few kb each. Serum presets really add up, it's by far the worst choice if you're looking for a "preset synth".

Some people make SERUMPLER of it
My gratitude and appreciation for each release, generates three additional customers for the developer

I filtered and sorted all my serum presets by categories and it have around 6000 presets and seems to much for me, took me a lot of time checking one by one. Who the hell have time to check 100.000 presets? Probably most of them are similar and/or duplicates with a cuestionable quality behind, specially if they are recycled.

As someone who has filtered and sorted all of the serum soundbanks and presets studiosly I totally agree on your statements.

Why the landing page gave 404 error?

To make 102,000 in a year, you have to make 280 presets a day....I imagine that all the presets are ripped from other packs.

Serum can't handle 102,000 preset. Max is 100k. While the scan will take 2 hours, once it's finished, the browser can't be used anymore and you cant select preset. One more stupid thing, the scan will only run with the plugin GUI is opened. If you minimize it, the scan restarts. So if you keep open and closing the GUI, the scan will restart everytime. You can use it but 1-2% of your CPU being used by the scan that keep restarting on the background, Serum also continuously writing on the database file during the scan that could slightly affect the HD performance.

It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

I can attest to this. Had a little over 8-10k presets. The scanning takes a while to do this, every single time. It got to the point that I had to remove presets and be left with around 3k presets just to be at a fairly decent scan optimization. Go for it if you want but expect it to scan for a while.

I am more than sure the person behind these 6 million presets is stealing these from other programmers. It's one thing to give them away, and another to 'sell' them.
  Resident 17.01.2015 113

But what quality are these? It really should be a programmer who can understand serum very well to make new an inspiring sounds, not a sine, then a sine with filter, then a sine with filter and distortion etc etc etc

I'm getting several errors when trying to extract. "Headers error" , "CRC failed", "Data error". Is anyone else getting these? I tried restarting the download, thinking possibly something got corrupted if my internet connection wasn't stable, but even after re-downloading on a stable connection I still get these errors.

Those kind of repacks are the WORST thing you can do to your production : they are ALL stolen/fillers presets, renamed and mixed.

Better use mega packs released by AZ ppl.

Thanks for sharing anyway !
