Where can I get the voice tag without any of the samples playing? I wanna create a Boom Bap track and use their voice tag as one of the stems.

If it is to give them credits, maybe you can contact them and ask for it without problems, give a try

As their vocal tag would be playing throughout the track it would provide them with some form credit and the track would include plenty of their loops (that I downloaded for free here). So if they'd be happy with credit and not dinero we may be on to something.

But the point of the track would pretty much be to show that the vocal tag that is supposed to be getting in the way of someone trying to use the loops in their demo could itself become the focus of a track and therefore negate the effectiveness of the audible watermarking. If they could find humor in that then they could probably provide the clean vocal stems. My experience is that corporations don't tend to be so 'creative' in their thinking and I'd have to attempt to isolate the vocal tag if I seriously wanted to proceed with the whimsical idea.

this feels like sarcasm, but if it isn't you could likely get separate the vocals out decently enough with ripx

At this point it's more "Project Mayhem" than straight up sarcasm. The catalyst was hearing the vocal tag on all the Boom Bap Labs posts. It's kinda subliminal, it's kinda 'consumerist' a la Fight Club's Ikea reference, and I can't help hearing the opening scene from "Airplane!" where the "Red Zone/White Zone" debate takes place between the male and female voice-overs.

I also thought, "Is it really worth their time and effort to deface their own demo track to prevent someone from lifting A LOOP OR TWO from their demo track? Has it ever prevented anyone from sampling their demo track (instead of downloading any one of THOUSANDS of other complete loop and sample packs)? What do they feel is worth preventing, someone scraping a free sample or two?" I found it laughable that the act of applying an audio watermark would prevent anything meaningful, only cause them more work, and make for less effective demo tracks.

And then the question arose "How effective is the audio watermark, anyhow? Couldn't you just negate it by making it a part of a track?" And that's what led to the initial question. I did acknowledge that it was a 'whimsical idea' in my second post as I couldn't see following through with it, but I would like to learn to use something like "ripx" to isolate vocals, so thanks for the suggestion.

Ultimate Vocal Remover (free download/software) is what you are looking for.

Thank you GokhanH33 and Covfefe (hahaha). I'll snag Ultimate Vocal Remover and play around with it.

I am gonna use the "Airplane!" opening scene and Boom Bap Labs vocal tag as my test cases, I'm sure I'll seriously want to use the technique in a legit track down the line. These two tracks give me something fun to learn with.
