here no problem to install Halion 7 vst 3 in Studio One but after having downloaded the 33Gb library on my hard disk, it was impossible to get it in Halion 7, although I can see the access path to the sounds in the browser. And it doesn't work with drag and drop. Do I need an account at Steinberg? Thanks.

I'm not too familiar with Halion but how is it compared to Kontakt? Seems very similar just Steinberg's proprietary version? I'm NI heavy, so not trying to get into a new environment. It seems it'd take a long time for Halion content to catch up with Kontakt.

Halion doesn't rely as much on third party libraries, its most loyal fanbase is heavily into making their own custom patches/instruments, so they aren't interested in catching up to Kontakt. Halion users are usually older professionals that are accustomed to DAW-less or workstation keyboard workflows, and willing to get their hands dirty, so to speak.

For those who have the full Librarys of v6 installed, you need only the FM Lab and the Tales Library.
No need to download 30 GB.

I just followed the Instructions and installed Halion7 and Halion 7 Sonic over Halion v6 and then Installed the Content via double click on the.vst3 Files.
For me it only installes FM Lab and Tales Library, because the other Library's i had already installed with Halion v6..
I'm on Win11.
