AKAI format CDRoms are not directly readable under Wxx... You must absolutely use a program that allows you to read/export the akai format to a standard format (Wav) i/e CDXtract- (www.cdxtract.com), Osmosis (www.bitheadz.com) or Chicken System Translator (www.chickensys.com/translator). Akai CDs can be accessed and played using VSampler, Kontakt Player or other samplers. Extreme Sample Converter sometimes is essensial too. I rarely use anything but CDXtract. Kontakt can read and extract akai format and the sounds are sometimes beter quality!
