I believe that labeling "royalty free" on samples means nothing. that moment when your song (composed with loops) gets to be a hit chart you'll have a row of lawyers in front of your studio ready to tear you apart

Depends how you use them. Some people will use them for DJ sets, and personal remixes, and others will grab snippets to use in underground releases that major labels wont even know exist. If the tune blows up then pay the royalties, if not, don't worry about it. We're all pirates here, so everything is fair game.
