CARS - SUVS & VANS: THE SOUND OF BIG WHEELS
After our first CAR sound effects library “EVERYDAY CARS”, we’re launching the second release of our popular CARS series: the mighty “SUVs & VANS” are rolling in! Buckle up and hold on tight for a huge collection of big wheelers including Hummer H3, Porsche Cayenne, Hyundai H1, Landrover Defender, Mercedes Benz Sprinter, Mitsubishi Outlander, VW Caddy – and there’s more on the list.

A TON OF DRIVING AND FOLEY SOUNDS
Each of these cars comes with detailed individual mechanical characteristics. We combined long takes of multi-channel car engine sounds and drive-bys with a comprehensive collection of interior handling sounds such as indicators, ventilation, pedal break, seatbelt and whatever you can think of. Our sound designers covered the entire range of possible car sounds.

MULTI-CHANNEL RECORDINGS FOR YOUR CUSTOM MIX
We recorded each car with a multi-channel setup. You get the same take recorded from three different positions (exhaust, engine, interior) to expand your mixing possibilities and to shape the sound exactly the way you want.

WHAT WE RECORDED
GASOLINE:
Hummer H3 I5 3.7 (2007)
Porsche Cayenne V6 3.6 (2011)
Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4 (2008)
Hyundai H1 2.4 (2011)
VW Caddy 1.6 (2011)

DIESEL:
Landrover Defender 2.4 TDI (2007)
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3.5 TDI (2011)
Toyota Landcruizer 3.0 TDI (2011)
Volvo XC60 5I 2,5 TDI (2011)

WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS SOUND FX LIBRARY?
We used our super-quiet test track in South Africa to deliver the most clean and bright recordings to push your projects to the optimum. The test track lies within the South-African desert so we have perfect recording conditions: no traffic noises, asphalted track, no bird noises. We bet you’ll appreciate the clean and bright character of the sounds when putting them in your projects.

COMPATIBLE SOFTWARE
BOOM Library sound FX come as WAV files, meaning you can import and work with them in any software that can handle this file type. Here are the most common audio and video editing software tools that work perfectly with our sound FX.

RICH METADATA EMBEDDED
To provide you with the fastest and easiest workflow possible, all files contain extensive metadata like file description & keywords to quickly find the sounds you’re looking for. Metadata can be read and processed by audio management tools. Some digital audio workstations feature an included search tool that can also read embedded metadata.

a word of caution...
boom libraries are watermaked and are tacked online...

You have commented in every Boom Library released recently with the same comment.
I can't understand if you are trolling or you are legit.

Digital watermarks should be gone once a sample is rendered, same goes for watermarks in the sound with the mix. You could also remove any strange frequencies that are not really audible. Could also use a Spectrogram.

Do you have any more information?

PS 1. Thanks Talula

PS 2. I will reply with this comment at any comment you have made to a BOOM library release. LOL

oh, now I'm understanding what you talking about... okey, I'll try to explain you something.
"finger printing" - just few bytes in one/few/all wav (or nki/etc...) files, that linked to order number. if you NOT a buyer of shared library - don't worry: using this finger print developer know only name and other personal data of buyer and only buyer! but I think they talking about "developer's finger print" - just to prove that it's their product. I hope you understand it.
about online detection system... huuuummmm... I'm not sure in this type of monitoring. why? because watermark at finalized and mastered track - can be detected. but a sample after editing, using fx and mixed with other sounds - changing original amplitude frequency response. it's too difficult task.
and about "cannot be removed" - bullshit! if something was added - it can be removed. or masked/destructed.
real professionals at studio/radio/tv/etc... must buy products like this: he making money with this.
I don't think that professional sound designers downloading this products here and using in their production
ViP Team - true legends stays in history!

they cannot be removed,no amount of processing can remove it...im posting this to stop people from being caught out...

im in broadcast, and we use companies that track watermaking to ensure that the music we use in commercials is paid for...so ignore the warning at your own peril..

Yes, thank you for the advice. But it would be better to create a thread at Audiosex so members would be informed once for all, and may be someone can explain how to get rid of these watermarks.

96kHz, that is why. Great quality though. You could convert them to 48kHz.

Apparently there's already a thread here

https://audiosex.pro/threads/watermarks-in-audio-files.13897/

and here's one of the comments that is very sobering

On robustness…

The proposed watermarking scheme demonstrates very high robustness to almost all kinds of audio conversions. Here are some typical examples:

lossy transcoding using MP3, Ogg Vorbis and other audio codecs (including multiple transcoding at very low bitrates)
acoustic coupling (i.e. traveling of sound from D/A to loudspeaker, then to the microphone via air and then to A/D)
mixing with other signals, noise addition
signal cropping, cutting
sample rate conversion (even down to low sample rates such as 8 KHz that is typical for phone networks); amplitude re-quantization
effect processing, from a simple EQ to an extreme dynamic range compression, reverberation, echo, spectral effects, etc.
waveform distortions such as limiting, clipping, slope manipulation, gain control
A/D - D/A conversion
transmission over the radio waves
almost any combination of the above

A quick example: the watermark survives even after several dozens(!) of transcodings using low MP3 bitrates and back, and then transducing of the transcoded signal via air (i.e. reproducing it with a loudspeaker and recording with a microphone) in presence of loud background speech. See “examples” section for more details.

So, better remind the link to this thread and discuss anything related to this protection there.
