I remember as a child, I was fascinated with two vinyl records that have marked the history, not the history of synthesizers, but what was done with them, they are:
The American Walter Carlos - Switched-On Bach 'and German 'Jon Santo - Holy Jon Plays Bach'.

These two synthesists, are able to create anything new in a synthesizer and also restore the physical elements to create the timbre of rain, thunder storm, water flowing and even to pronounce words, of course before learning synthesis, must learn physics, otherwise you will be running on buttons randomly to maybe, give some sort to produce an interesting sound.

This is the case of these random samples that do not say much, there was a time when people sought content, today, just a simple drum riff that everyone copies exactly the same, and add any evil sampled sound, there was also a time when TVs produced real show with intellectual content, today, the TVs are for speaking ill of others, the plastic surgery that spoiled the face of some famous etc.

Then I ask, is not the guy who makes all the garbage that is guilty, but rather the consumer that gives audience. The world is dumbing down drastically, which for many opininions can only be solved with those Hollywood made disasters, as has happened throughout history, when, everyone wakes up and do a reconstruction for the better.
