I only see in hindsight that this requires a USB iLok dongle, which is a bit strange in 2025.

Yeah, it's a bummer, I didn't even notice it at first. The other side is that it's $60, so it's not cheap but it's not expensive either for a plugin. If someone can't live without it, they can buy it.

I already have MIKKO Reflex that I bought, I can't imagine this could be much better.

Mikko Reflex is a fantastic cab plugin. I think it's great that more developers have entered the world of cabinet plugins, because it gives you more options/flavors. Almost every cabinet sounds different, even if you put the exact same SM57 in the same spot, see Mesa OS cabinets released in different years. V30s also come in many varieties: place of manufacture, year, 16 or 8 ohms or the special versions, see for example the one made for the Marshall Mode Four 280 cab. Developers' methods are also different, so I'm glad that the options are expanding.
