REQ: Make Believe Studio CGII

The CGII plugin features a streamlined user interface with a level metering display positioned above two control knobs and a small selector switch array. Prominently across the top, a Nixie tube numeric readout displays EBU R128 specified Integrated, Momentary, or Short Term LUFS or True Peak values at the processor's output. The various controls include a 'density' knob which brings up previously masked small-signal detail without affecting existing peak dynamics, and a 'filter' switch that engages a 1Hz DC Block filter. A 'true peak' switch activates the brand new oversampled and look-ahead True Peak Limiter as the final process stage, with accompanying switches provided to set the limiter output ceiling to 0dB, -0.1dB, or -1dB. There is also a 'bypass' switch that duplicates the bypass function found in the plug-in header bar. The 'loudness' control operates a uniquely tuned soft saturation stage before the peak limiter, and the 'dither' function adds dither, allowing selection of the output audio word length from 24 bits down to 16 bits. For user assistance, tooltip mouse-over pop-ups are available for all UI elements by clicking the circular '?' Help icon in the plug-in header bar; knob parameter values are displayed via a tooltip overlay as you adjust them, and a right-click on a knob allows manual value entry.
