ProAudioDeclipper is a powerful real-time audio processing tool designed to enhance audio quality by restoring the original dynamic range of clipped and saturated audio. It effectively eliminates distortion caused by clipping and saturation, offering a superior solution compared to traditional declipper algorithms. Using an innovative approach, ProAudioDeclipper reconstructs the original signal from clipped data, often resulting in a final output that is indistinguishable from the original, unclipped recording.

This automatic de-clipping tool requires minimal user interaction. It can seamlessly detect clipping and saturation artifacts, restoring them in real time. Additionally, ProAudioDeclipper features a soft limiter to adjust the final output level, ensuring balanced audio without distortion.

Thank you for the echo.. I confronted the plugin with my own as well as demo files from the homepage against RX11 declipper. I would like to avoid making definitive statements or glorifying just one solution..

Very briefly my opinion is that:

- subjectively, the MAF PAD gives better results when eliminating audible distortion!
- at the same time, however, the undistorted parts of the audio data are altered to a much greater extent by MAF PAD processing than with the RX11 declipper. This is partly due to the inability to deactivate dynamic range change in MAF PAD.
- it appears that the MAF PAD is a more comprehensive tool for eliminating audible distortion than the RX11 declipper, which still does not have a dynamic threshold.

I understand, that eliminating audible distortion is what counts here, but still the philosophy of RX11 to find a compromise between eliminating audible distortion and altering undistorted data IMO was and is by iZotope on very high level!
