STRIKEFORCE 2 is a modern cinematic percussion library, proudly continuing the legacy of the original STRIKEFORCE. It serves as the next-level evolution of Laboratory Audio’s flagship cinematic percussion, the library that initiated it all.

More is more! SF2 Includes 145 brand new patches, a massive set of 75 unique ensembles and 58 Solo Drums. The bulk of the library focuses mainly around the vast assortment of expressive ensembles, complimented by matching solo drums and an abundance of variations. Large drums, small drums, it’s all there. We even have a few “insanity ensembles” on tap, with more players than ever thought possible.

We meticulously crafted the sound mixes for a contemporary film aesthetic, delivering a super upfront “Close Mix” with the perfect blend of natural room ambience and punch. Ideal for modern film, television and game scoring. The “Far Mix” has a gorgeous epic film sound. It has a wonderful natural hall treatment with remarkable dynamic expression. The lower velocities feature subtle vastness, escalating to a “violent fury” at the highest velocities. Two complete curated film mixes that work equally well in isolation or smoothly blended together. As usual the mix is easily controlled via the mod-wheel for a fast and expressive workflow.

STRIKEFORCE 2 is designed to inspire creativity by seamlessly blending sounds. Doubling up your MIDI enhances the incredible sound of Strikeforce 2. Each patch includes 16 round robins for each of the 6 velocity layers, and smart scripting prevents accidental repeated rr overlap.
